Jacob Goldman
LoHo Realty's Broker and President Jacob Goldman knows Co-op Village. He and his family have lived here since 1995, and in that time, Jacob and his company, LoHo Realty, have become synonymous with Co-op Village marketing and sales.
As an attorney admitted to the New York State bar, Jacob has conducted countless real estate closings for Co-op Village apartments. Having been on all sides of the real estate transaction--the attorney, the seller, the broker and the buyer--Jacob is an expert at co-op closings and knows first-hand how to negotiate and interact with co-op boards. He is intimately familiar with the co-op by-laws, reconstitution plans, managements, and board members, and he draws on that knowledge every day to meet the needs of co-op buyers and sellers.
LoHo Realty is the first and only real estate brokerage established solely for Co-op Village and its four co-op corporations: East River, Seward Park, Amalgamated and Hillman. Since its incorporation in 1999, LoHo has been responsible for nearly 500 sales and over 90 subleases, making it by far the number-one broker for Co-op Village.
In fact, the New York Times declared: "LoHo Realty... is the No. 1 broker for [Co-op Village's] 4,500 apartments." NYT, July 25, 2004.
Jacob works tirelessly on behalf of the community, as well: He has served on Community School Board, #1, Manhattan, for five years, and was appointed to the Neighborhood Advisory Board of Community District #3 in Manhattan, a position he has held for six years. He also serves as honorary president of the Bialystoker Synagogue.
For Jacob Goldman, a 80 hour work-week is the norm; let him and LoHo Realty's team of expert associates put their diligence and expertise to work for you.
